People were baffled by his appointment a bit and then disappointed by his style of play and the lack of progress of players even after he'd been here a year.

Twas a shame that it has descended into a bit of a fictitious Farke/Smith/Wagner face off, stoked endlessly by you.

As I mentioned earlier, I think the more toxic idea was that the players were garbage and that Smith, despite a year in the role, had his hands tied by the rubbish he was given. Naturally we need to see if the current form can be maintained (as you rightly have flagged) however, it'd be interesting to see the trend results - as that was the main concern, which your selective reporting (as you have often done in the past) has actively pursued.

No idea why you enjoy such obfuscation.
