That showed in the performances of the team.

We are a team that has a few errors in us at the best of times anyway as recent games continue to show. But we were not fit enough, not sharp enough and I think were just a bit "below par" all round.

I have been told by a few people that Smith and Shakey spent a lot of time playing golf. It may be unfair but it just felt like they were going through the motions a bit after their Villa experience.
