Wow your friends at Royal Mail must have left a long time ago
if modernising means paying new staff 20% less than current staff and removing sick and holiday pay while employing a huge percentage of new employees on gig economy zero hours contracts. It’s more like going back decades. I’ll strike for months now if needed, nothing to lose. In fact it’s the best Christmas in the job i’ve had in the 33 years i’ve been there, no overtime no 7 day week to make sure everything is delivered while the management hide mail in lorries to make it look like it’s all fine
