Of course it may not happen but there would be a chance of a new guy coming in, getting us going, taking us to promotion and possibly integrating Cantwell back into the side.

Who knows they might even persuade Pukki to sign up again if he's enjoying things.

If Smith and Shakey stay I can see us limping to the end of the season, losing half a dozen out of contract players, having to sell a couple of others and then basically starting from scratch again next season with a terrible atmosphere around the place. They need to do something to try and turn it around before its too late.
