I get the "you're 5th, what on earth are you complaining about?" point. But I am totally convinced that position is a false representation of what we're producing. One year into the Smith/Shakey regime no discernible football pattern has emerged. The players look lost. We are unable to press effectively. People are not working hard off the ball to show for it. Our press is incredibly lacklustre. I challenge anyway to watch our last few performances and say we are a good side with good players. We have been, in my view, lucky as hell to have the points we have got. And form in the last 12 has us 20th in the table. We are not showing signs. We are not moving forward. We are going backwards, from an already poor standard of football.

All this off the back of, apparently, spending our parachute payments for the next 2 years already (I think that's what Bailey said in his pod).

So good effort Mick, but you have failed to engage with the facts. What is getting served up is just objectively really really poor. It's not just about winning games.

Oh, and digging out some absurd rubbish some muppet is posting on facebook to justify the dismissal of legitimate fan concerns is a cheap trick.
