Maybe - also

I don't think that the overall plan has really shifted.

We're still looking to buy cheap and young and sell on.

We're still looking at having a cohesive set of tactics and recruiting towards that alongside a manager who agrees (I do think Dean is with the programme).

We're also clearly still looking at having the infrastructure to support the team and the plan.

The Mark A involvement also indicates that the owners are currently looking for new investment or someone to eventually sell on to. Suspect that they have been in this mindset for a while, but finding someone they could get on board (with) was harder than fans would have liked (pure speculation on my part) eitherwhichway I'm not sure that it'd be feasible to talk further on that point than Mark A's interview.

So yeah, not really surprised that Webber is less vocal these days, and we have a solid enough manager who is briefer, tho still affable, in his interviews.

Expectations are undoubtedly higher and the stakes of failing don't get any less scary.

I still get the feel the club are all pulling in the same direction tbh - looking forward to seeing the squad continue to gel.

Also - would hope that if we do get promoted under this manager this year that he'll be kept on.
