For what it's worth I do agree that we aren't having the strategic approach of the club set out quite so clearly as they used to be, but to a large extent, it goes without saying now.

Promotion. Assemble a squad capable of staying there. Do both of the above in a way that is sustainable for NCFC, in particular buying players with resale value.

Webber hasn't done so well on that latter one of late of course (pinning that all on webber is of course unfair).
