May as well stir the pot...

For me this season, despite the league position and 7 game unbeaten run, has all the thrills* and excitement* that the Rioch, Hamilton, and Roeder eras also didn't provide (Oxford comma).

Of course winning is everything, except it certainly isn't unless there is a modicum of entertainment included.

One thing I've cherished about this club since the Bond era is it's overall commitment to a positive passing game; Brown, Stringer, Walker and maybe even Lambert's success was built on it.

We now have perhaps the most technically gifted group ever but can't seem to play in a cohesive manner. Possession and passing accuracy is one thing, but if all the passes are in our own third then we are always going to struggle to hurt teams.

We have arguably the best striker at this level but fail to play to his strengths. It's like we've got all the great ingredients from Waitrose and M&S but we've got Gregg Wallace trying to be a chef when he's a barrow boy!

Please make it all come together, but I'm yet to be anywhere near convinced.

This isn't a heartbroken lament for Farke, but please can we have something to get behind and enjoy.

Maybe we are spoilt and entitled now (I don't think so) but having been through those miserable dark days with those "names" as managers previously, I am fearful.

*sarcasm

Anyway, something for everyone to argue about, either now, in the morning, and maybe later in the day.
