Will continue to get behind Smith but what concerns me

is that when we had slow starts with Farke you could clearly see what he was trying to do with the team and I had confidence it would come. On Radio 5 yesterday they had a quick discussion between ex-pros and journos about Smith. One of them described Smith as an experienced and technically astute coach but I’ve yet to see much evidence of it. There seems to be no consistency in tactics and we’ve yet to see any momentum from match to match. There was another comment from the Radio saying that at Villa he had huge amounts of money to spend which eventually got them out of the Champs, implying Smith wasn’t the main reason. I still hope I’ll be wrong that DF shouldn’t have been sacked but the longer this goes on I think it’ll show another big error by Webber.
