the thing is, you don't need to have a swimming pool

swimming pools are horrendously expensive and a huge maintenance time consumer plus important components regularly break down, filters, pumps, lights etc. better off just going to a leisure complex or public pool now and then or renting a regular place at a time-share pool or swim in the sea or river or lake.
