I don't think he's made the most of the players available
And I think that's down to him constantly shuffling the pack in the hope that something shakes out.
Much of our success under Farke was down to building understandings between players in all areas of the pitch. In the absence of clear roles /a system its really not clear to me how he expected the team to gel in the way he's set us up.
A prime reason we appointed him was his experience in keeping Villa up, I'm not sure there's stuff in his CV which makes him look a good option for what we're facing next year.
I don't think he's a terrible manager, but I have seen nothing to suggest that he knows which players to build the core of the team around next year and I don't buy the line that there's nothing there. He seems to have taken quite a few of the team backwards - including some who you would expect us to be using next year, having shown that they can cut it in the champs.
Sometimes things don't go to plan, and personally I'd rather see someone new come in and assess the squad with fresh eyes.
