Mini Norwich Pub Crawl Advice Wanted....

I am planning to return to the Fair City for a couple of nights (midweek) the week after next. This will only be my 4th visit since the mid 1980's....(shame I know). Previous times I've been with my other half but she is being left at home this time and I'm going with a couple of mates neither of whom have been to Norwich before.

Obviously I know the touristy stuff, but I suspect the pubs have altered since 1986! So, I'm looking for advice on a couple of City Centre (or near City Centre) pub crawls for each night we are staying. No more than 4 pubs please (5 at the most). Looking for good quality beer and pubs with character.

Separately, would also appreciate recommendations for decent eateries either before the pubs or part way through it. Thanks Wrathers....
