Respectfully disagree

If I write 3x + 5 it’s unambiguous: we take the value of x, triple it and then add 5. Taking away BODMAS would mean I couldn’t do that and would instead have to write (3x) + 5 which is more work to write the same thing: and in any kind of calculation the brackets would overwhelm everything and slow everyone up.

Also re division sign it’s much easier to write 1/2 than 2^(-1)

Most important of all though it would make Nerdle impossible.
