Look at all the top playmakers / attacking midfielders, even wingers these days.

The exception is perhaps players with brilliant vision or extraordinary pace, but Todd has neither.

Maybe he can add the physical bit? Take Emi as an example, without his physicality / tenacity off the ball, he'd be brilliant, but not someone set for the top. Todd is miles off in both categories.
