Just to add one more thing…..

I think he was great in that three month spell or so in the PL last time round, start of the season through to Xmas in particular. He was transformed from the season before.

Perhaps if he hits those heights consistently he’s got a chance. He didn’t seem to be improving here since then.

What will go against him is he might find it harder to find a team that plays the formation that shows off his talent.
