I’m not particularly fussed about the parties BUT

It’s a rum old do when the Govt of the day are having parties for which Joe Public were being arrested, fined, and given life-affecting criminal records for.

I just don’t know whether it’s more ridiculous that the Govt thought it was ok to flout it’s own rules or that we were actually arresting and fining adults for having parties.
