Serious question.... and this isn't pointed at Tombs......

I see a lot of people putting the boot in on those who had these parties.
Some of the same people get all pissy when the government imposes all kinds of mask, travel or social distancing mandates.

To get this straight are people just pissed because they didn't follow the rules they expected everyone else to follow..... even if the same people making those accusations didn't necessarily agree with those rules in the first place?

From a neutral outsider this is a weird dynamic.

Is there really a principal at play or is this just a case of trying to take down the rich and powerful because (shockingly!) they don't play by the same rules as mere mortals.
If you are expecting that to exist, you are going to be disappointed many times in life.
