who’ve got in exactly the same pickle recently. Seems a bit of a coincidence - more likely that people in footie do use the word in that way, for some reason.

As I say (and despite your and paulg‘s prickly responses), am not slagging him off. Just think it’s a bit weird if that word has started being used in football in that way.
