The way it was said, it was as if he'd heard someone (perhaps Barton) use the phrase and he was unwittingly following suit

It's a concern that there are now at least 3 instances of this phrase having been used in an entirely unacceptable context in football, it needs to stop before it becomes commonplace amongst some sets of fans too
