I think he was (when claiming it was every day) in my view exagerating how often things like that were said to him and probably leaving out some of the context (principally what he had said or how he responded) behind "some" of the dressing room/coach trip exchanges. Which doesn't make the use of the racist terms/language right before you say it.

But you are taking this off on a tangent to try and make out i'm being racist or something. My main point is that he should not be cancelled for his error of judgment and nor should others who are being vilified for historic and relatively innocuous comments. The more serious comments/allegations are a different matter but the key point is that atmospheres must not be allowed to develop in workplaces or dressing rooms where this sort of language/bahaviour is not challanged.
