and that's a good thing.
No sacking has ever saddened me before. It's been an incredible three years and I wanted success for him more than any previous manager.
Maybe because he was new to the country and because he spoke so beautifully about the club and the city.
But also because the 18/19 season was the most extraordinary and exhilarating of my life. An extraordinary, relentless bolt of lightning. Rock and roll football.
I won't ever forget it or be able to thank him enough.
