I have an “end of school” vibe

We have all these positive emotions and it’s all been such a laugh. I’m going to stay friends with these people for ever and ever. We’ll never be apart.

But that’s not true. We’re in fact mostly going to split up, go to places far away from each other, where we’ll all be too busy to see each other or even speak. When we do gather, it’s not the same as we’re becoming different people. And we’re all going to realise we have bills to pay and a big pile of grown up obligations. The summer we thought would go on forever, is over and has gone. And we won’t ever get it back.
