Not lived there about as long and was only there 3 years

but it is still my favourite city in the UK. How different my life would have been if I could have found a job in Norwich in the Summer of 78.

My bro-in-law died this morning and typing this made me remember when my Dad got appendicitis in 1974 and Barry drove me up to UEA instead of Dad. He was supposed to stay the night in a B&B on Unthank Road but got lost and ended up on the A11, drove back to Southampton the same day. Rest easy, Barry.
