Defence and injuries

I think we needed a really good central defender (Godfrey could have gone back to CDM which I believe was his original and possibly preferred position and then used if needed fr cover).

Then we had all those defensive injuries, most notably the "Haller tough challenge" in the West Ham game meaning we had no first choice central defenders available (Godfrey CDM).

and now we have only 1 first choice defender available who has been out for 15 months.

with so many injuries we have not been able to have a steady consistent defence unlike teams like Sheffield

so basically we have been hit by that Haller challenge and the player who clattered klose in the cup game
