So what went wrong this season?
I think its been universally accepted we have a decent squad who plays nice football.
A number of people have commented that we will be one of the best teams to ever get relegated.
We have played great stuff but clearly not consistently enough.
We have had a number of injuries which hurts a club like us who lacks a bit of depth.
Things haven't gone our way. I know they say luck evens out but I don't think we have had the rub of the green especially with VAR. The Man Utd penalties were f**king bizarre. and the Pukki Spurs no goal was silly.
Plus we are probably not good enough as a squad.
Is that really surprising when competing with teams who have players with many years of PL experience.
We do seem to have the ability to give the top teams a game but just fall short. Our ability to rise just to the level of each opponent has been our downfall.
FWIW I'm not giving up until its virtually impossible as I still feel we have the ability to catch fire and go on a mini-run that could save us.
