good to know you beat the illness and I fully understand what you are saying. I say if you are happy with your employer then go for the NVQ. If you really want to escape it, then dont do them and perhaps look for something which (could possibly) demonstrate a bit more?

Failing that why not do the NVQ and do something really worthwhile like volunteering - there is lots you can do for people who actually have the disease you beat, or go chat to some old people in homes, or become a special constable...always lots on offer..
