because UEFA said leagues shouldn't do it so they can decide who qualifies for their tournaments.

If you step back and think logically surely you either complete all the games or you void and play the season again.

I keep coming back to the analogy of a game abandoned after 75 minutes. It gets played again regardless of what the score was.
