I have a fear

which may be unfair, but is that some unions will take the/any opportunity to try to damage the government, which they hate. I also have a fear that as a result, state schools and their pupils will suffer, whilst the private schools find a way, by hook or by crook, to carry on or adapt, as they have to - and as they most certainly will. Carry on like that for too long, and "social distancing" (& the rest) may turn out to the consequence not the cure.
