Yes as I understand it if the best chance of medical intervention is before

people end up on ventilators. once on them, the odds don't seem that great and its more a question of whether your body can find the resolve to recover and the ventilator can buy enough time for it to do so.

As this think moves forward it seems more and more like interventions before it gets to that stage are pretty crucial.
