we've had some great centre backs IMO

Bruce and Watson were unbelievable in the Milk Cup final. I remember as a kid I loved Watson and Woods. How on earth did we manage to get relegated with these players?

I think the reason we let in so many goals at the moment is more to do with our tactical approach. Farke encouraging our full backs to play high, trying to play out most of the time, letting our DMs get forward. If Houghton had our squad for a month we'd concede less but as we all know we'd score less and be ridiculously boring to watch
