Oh Steven

This is exactly what's planned isn't it?

Force a no deal. Country crashes and vast swathes of business threaten to leave or face closure. Declare that this is a national emergency and drastic measures are needed to save us from ruin. We must cut taxes to the bone to attract capital into the country and keep jobs. Debt will balloon. Now we have no choice but to balance the books and it will be tough for everyone, but it will be worth it. All these spending commitments (wild promises that are being made) will go straight in the bin. Enter stage left, Austerity v2.0, new improved and many times more aggressive than v1.0. Huge cuts to public service and benefits. A necessary evil i'm afraid. Rolling back of the state like we haven't seen for decades and decades. Anyone that goes against it is a traitor and collaborator, trying to weaken our negotiations with the evil EU.

It's the free marketers wet dream, something desired since the welfare state was first introduced. Amazing how the debate has moved to the point where lots of working class people are about to vote for this.

Apparently Steven, its only me and thee that have this worry though.
