Subjective Steve, you are not in their position.

They - whoever they are, may or may not be correct in their assumption that voting leave will improve their lives. And ultimately it's all guesswork isn't it. The way I see it - people who had a pretty good life - middle classes, people living in nice areas with good jobs etc voted remain as did most businesses who were doing pretty well and most Brits abroad (well the ones I spoke to in Cyprus anyway) because the upside was minimal the downside was a long way down. And the opposite voted leave with a lot of old folk and no doubt a few of the upper class lot too. I just don't get all the vitriol on here for people who voted leave when folks don't know their situation. Shame it's spoiled the wrath at times though.
