Because he is better in that position than Maddison? No because you wear #NCFC blinkers. I think if we were 5-1 with 20 to go Maddison would’ve got minutes but at 5-3 I think Southgate/Holland didn’t want to take any risks.

Maddison will play for England, let’s hope he takes his chance when he gets it.
