so, for example, strap on sally has taken out (i think) 4 away memberships for his family, if that's wrong delete SoS and replace with AN Other duty good bloke/girl.

There are a limited number of away (or home same difference applies) tix and a finite number of eligible away members. Does the ballot/lottery discriminate, or is it a random computer generated algorithm? i.e. could strap on sally, or AN Other, find themselves in a position where only some of their group get picked? leaving them to chose someone to leave at home? or, would the club have to positively/negatively discriminate against families/groups of friends? if they do (can't see how they couldn't) who does and how do they make their decision?
