I will see v little benefit from the £30 cap if I'm paying £50-£75 (I'll only be able to get the kids up 2-3 times) on top per game.

It's not just local or exiled parents, it's also those on low incomes or with work or life commitments or exiles that can only afford a handful of games. It's not an exaggeration to foresee a future where home tickets may rarely be on general sale again if they keep this scheme running even if relegated. Why wouldn't they? Captive market isnt it? I'm sure there'll be the odd batch of returns if you're lucky but that's not great for pairs or groups.

I bet it's far more people affected than the 754 super away fans that would have continued going and buying the club tat regardless. You've now got a whole swathe of people that many never be able or want to come again. I have to seriously think about whether it is worth trying to get my kids to support Norwich at all. Luckily I can afford it but is it 'really' worth it if there's now a fan tax on top of ticket & travel & tat prices?
