Well

As I understand it last season membership was £25.

This is a bit simplistic because it has to be and there is obviously the £35 membership as well but I don't see why anyone in their right mind would buy that given the number of tickets available but therefore the costs of memberships has doubled. In some cases its more than that because junior canary membership has gone up from £20 to £50 as well.

Last season e had 8,000 members. If one assumes the same number renew (i.e.) 8,000 that makes the club an extra £150-200,000 although last time we were in the prem we had 14,000 members so that would be circa £350,000.

If you include the 2,700 away tickets then yes I suppose you could argue they are perhaps losing out on around £800,000 of ticket revenue they could otherwise have made but that does ignore the fact that they would not have been getting £40 a ticket for every game, the away end and the ground generally will be selling out far more often and so overall I would not expect any decrease in revenues to be of that scale.

In any event it panders into insignificance when you look at the TV monies we will have.

But IF that is what they are doing then in effect what they are doing is looking to charge our away fans more in order to subsidise giving cheap tickets to opposition away fans at Carrow Road which is pretty low.
