I would assume though that the current regime would be heavily focussed on
potential re-sale value.
Van Wolfswinkel I can kind of forgive as I don't think anyone could have anticipated he would be as bad as he turned out to be and he was still quite young and really should not have been such a disaster although it was weird because he was just not suited to how we wanted to play at all.
Naismith and Jarvis were very different signings really and always looked very high risk. I would absolutely agree we should not be doing those types of signings again but that does not mean to say we should never spend big again if the right opportunity arises.
