My calculations are that we can’t guarantee second...

Our maximum is 102 points

Leeds and SU have the potential to both get 100 points by winning all their remaining games but SU win their derby.

WBA cannot reach 100 points so if you are looking at maximum they and everyone else can be discounted.

This means that if we get 100 points it would come down to goal difference rather than points so wouldn’t guarantee second.

If we could get 101 points we could finish second to Leeds but would finish top of the league which wouldn’t answer the question as we fail to finish second.

Therefore we are still in the position that mathematically we need to win every game to get automatic promotion although in reality the target will be lower.

Please feel free to criticise my logic, personally I think that 90 points should be enough.
