“lycra loons universally hated by motorist”

Well, hard to see what side of any fence you’re on then.

I know there are cyclists who don’t behave, but the same question is never asked of the drivers who routinely cross pedestrian crossings on amber, stop on box junctions, aggressively drive closely to other road users, wear headsets, use phones while driving, exceed speed limits, go the wrong way down one-way streets (I live on one and see this daily) and so on ad f**king infinitum.

Or is it the Lycra that troubles you?
