the beauty of democracy though is that

we are not forever bound by the decisions made in the past, there is always the ability to have another vote

We've already had one further vote on the matter since the referendum, and there'll be another one in 2022.

All of this "but we've voted on it already! That's it! Live with it!" seems to be the total antithesis of democracy.
