Parking "ticket"
My wife went to the Community Hospital in July for a breast cancer scan and put the right money in the parking machine. 3 weeks later we got a letter saying that she was "in breach of the parking terms and conditions" there and they wanted a fee of £100.
Reading online the advice is to let the situation "play out" and end up at the Small Claims Court in front of a judge. In most cases the company use their powers of intimidation hoping you pay beforehand so often don't bother to turn up at court so the Judge tends to find against them. And may well do even if they do turn up.
Has anyone here got any experience of taking this approach?
Cheers
