Having to instruct lots of v expensive firms from that there Londons and they are taking the piss a bit.

Have you got them on a fixed fee gig? If not make sure you get an itemized bill and go through their narratives like a hawk. Bound to find some time entries that can be challenged - especially any time billed for you correcting their mistakes

(If you can be arsed, it may not be big £££)
