Another stabbing in Ipswich..possibly fatal. WTF is up with this world?

I guess it's down to gang warfare? It's Ipswich FFS...could easily be Norwich or Cambridge etc. As a father of two young daughters I fear for their future and the world they will grow up in. Not sure how it's tackled but something radical needs to be done, because it's not the same country as I was brought up in.
I admit to being a little naive but what are these gangs fighting and killing over? Drugs?
