Running a club doesn't make people clairvoyant

By your argument we should have been not playing him for well over a month now. That would have just pissed off both him and the fans. It's just a freak injury that nobody could have predicted, like when Bellamy did his ligaments in a preseason game (Pritchard did the same this year). You can't spend your whole life living in fear of things that are massively unlikely to happen.
