over £200,000 raised so far for his charity the brathay trust by the joe publics, many of them doing the last bit of the marathon run that the feller sadly didn't make. I doubt this wouldn't have happened pre-social media days so hats off to each and every one of them. It makes me wonder about yesterdays jimming about all the social media hand wringing and cry arseing.

I don't social media at all apart from this whackjob site and a bit of twitter maybe 4 or 5 times a year for business. The "beauty" in this case really is in the eye of the beholder. Nobody is forced to go on the internet, take some responsibility for what you choose to connect with. It's part of being a fully fledged f**king grown-up human. You alone have that responsibility.
