I agree with that Larry but how do we fund it?

We, like most western countries are billions/trillions in debt and there's just not enough folks putting into the pot compared to those taking out anymore. When I was a kid you see a doctor the same day - tried to book an appointment for family member earliest one was 3 weeks away, only other option was to get triaged by the receptionist!
