well my thunking is

improve the mood before the game, get fans enthused rather than folks just queueing morosely for an overpriced colddog then chances are they will take that positive vibe into the ground with them. a half arsed rendition of OTBC and 4 blokes trying to boot a ball into the centre circle at half time might not be the best way of engendering a buzzing stadium.

Safe standering as well in the barclay bottom (parp) would also help.
