I think you are being overly dramatic on the negative side
You have no idea how next season will turn out.
Even if we sell Maddison it may bring in some serious money that allows us to go out and get 5 or 6 quality players that will make us better.
Clearly we are well short of the top 6 at the moment but there are some decent players here.
Adding quality to certain areas could turn us into a very good team.
