I'm calling bull

chances of your container of milk coming from the same cow (or even same farm) are slim-to-none unless you're an NLP getting milk deliveries from your friendly 'local' farmer. Regular milk is collected by tankers serving multiple farms and tankers will decant into silos shared with other tankers.

there is, however, a good chance that some of your common garden milk is actually organic - due to the strict parameters around transporting organic milk, and vagaries in customer demand, organic milk often gets sold into the conventional market (much to the chagrin of the organic milk suppliers, as they can't charge their premium)
