You're statutorily entitled to add interest at 8%APR(*) for late payment of invoices.
I've never done that with a client I aspired to work for again some day - but in this case it sounds like the relationship is over so no harm in doing that.
(*) used to be the figure; not done this kind of work for some years now so best check it still is, FSB or IPSE website will help you out
